9 Best AEO Agencies for B2B SaaS: Who Can Actually Prove AI Citations

9 Best AEO Agencies for B2B SaaS: Who Can Actually Prove AI Citations (banner v2)

When one research team asked buyers how they found a workflow tool, about 9% of conversions were credited to AI answers. Last-touch web analytics, looking at the same conversions, credited roughly 1%. If you judge answer engine optimization (AEO) by last-touch analytics, you'll conclude it barely works, and you'll probably be wrong by a factor of nine.

That's the problem with this category. Nearly every SEO agency now sells AEO, which means getting your brand named and cited when buyers ask AI tools for a recommendation. Very few can tell you how they'll measure it, and an AEO program you can't measure is just content with a new label. (New to the term? Start with what AEO is.)

So this list is ranked by proof: a published tracking method (which prompts, which engines, how often) and named evidence that it moved something. Each entry ends with a plain opinion, who it suits, and who should skip it. The research uses each firm's site, Clutch and public posts, checked 15 Oct 2026; none of the agencies was hired or tested.

If your situation is narrower, the GEO agency roundup and the shortlist of AEO agencies for agentic AI companies may fit better.

TL;DR: the verdict

  1. Miraa, for B2B SaaS teams that want AEO and SEO on one fixed-price retainer. Its named Forge case shows 2,100 Google AI Mode citations for Salesforge in Aug 2026.

  2. Discovered Labs, for Series A+ teams that want the most transparent pricing and the strongest named AI-citation cases (Granola, AdvisoryAI).

  3. Graphite, for teams that want AEO run like a research project, with a fixed 200+ prompt benchmark each quarter.

The rest: OneMetrik for a founder-led specialist with a weekly number; Arobis AI for AEO-first work only for B2B SaaS; Omniscient if content is already your main channel; Siege Media if earned mentions are your bottleneck; iPullRank for enterprise sites with engineers on hand; growth.cx for a defined five-part process.

How we chose: five measurement signals

We checked every agency, Miraa included, against these five signals:

  1. A prompt-level tracking method. Does it say which engines it tracks, against which buyer prompts, and how often?

  2. Off-site work. AI answers lean on third-party sources (review sites, Reddit, comparison lists). An agency that only edits your blog misses most of those.

  3. B2B SaaS relevance: named software clients, or a stated SaaS focus.

  4. Evidence: case studies with a named client and an AI-visibility or pipeline result.

  5. Pricing clarity, which counted as a bonus.

Few agencies meet all five, and each entry names its gaps. After Miraa, the order runs from AEO-native specialists to content and SEO agencies that added AEO, because they solve different problems. For where AEO still needs an SEO foundation, see AEO vs SEO.

1. Miraa

Miraa homepage screenshot

Miraa sells AEO inside the same retainer as its SEO work. Its clients are B2B SaaS and AI companies, and its reporting covers the demos, SQLs and pipeline that come from organic and AI search. On the checks above, it shows SaaS focus, tracked engines and public pricing, and it now has one named case study with AI-citation counts.

Its site describes answer engine optimization as getting your brand "cited and recommended in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews when buyers ask for a solution like yours."

Services

AEO is one of ten services on Miraa's menu:

  • Product-led SEO: feature, use-case and integration pages that give AI tools accurate product facts to repeat.

  • Content-led SEO: a keyword and prompt plan aimed at buying questions, not just volume.

  • Technical SEO: making sure crawlers, including AI crawlers, can fetch and read the pages.

  • On-Page SEO: restructuring existing pages so answers sit in clear, self-contained passages.

  • SEO Site Migration: moving a site without losing the rankings and citations it already has.

  • SEO Website Recovery: fixing traffic losses before building on top of them.

  • AEO/GEO: citation and mention work across AI assistants and AI search features.

  • Content Writing: expert-written pages and articles.

  • Link Building: earning third-party mentions through digital PR.

  • Agentic SEO/GEO: AI agents built into research, publishing and monitoring.

Pricing

AI search visibility isn't an add-on: GEO comes with the entry plan. The three tiers run as follows. Basic Growth costs $2,500 a month and covers agentic SEO strategy, bottom-of-funnel content, GEO and AI search visibility, plus a monthly pipeline report. Growth+ costs $3,500 a month and layers on programmatic SEO, human-led content and lead magnets. Hyper-Growth costs $5,000 a month and brings custom agent development and a revenue attribution layer.

Reviews

No Clutch or G2 profile found.

Clients

Salesforge, Leadsforge, Zapmail, Icypeas, Redora AI, Outcraft and Vibe are among the clients Miraa names. Of its four case studies (read 15 Oct 2026), one names the client:

  • Salesforge and its sibling products (Mailforge, Warmforge, Primeforge, Infraforge). Each domain got its own slice of the keyword map, plus competitor reviews, alternatives pages and pricing comparisons in one house style. Between Apr–Jun 2025 and May–Jul 2026, Search Console shows clicks across the five domains up 117.7% to 75,416 a quarter and average position improving from 23.5 to 9.4. For AEO, the useful number is the citation count: Ahrefs logged 2,100 Salesforge citations in Google AI Mode, 618 in Gemini and 388 in Perplexity in Aug 2026. The study doesn't give a pre-engagement citation baseline, so ask for one.

  • Email automation SaaS (unnamed). Growth from $1M to $3M ARR over 12 months, with CAC down 40%.

  • LinkedIn automation tool (unnamed). More than 200 qualified leads within 90 days; GEO had the brand showing in AI results for 15 high-intent queries by week 8.

  • AI-powered ad platform (unnamed). $25K MRR in the first quarter, with GEO and on-page work credited for Perplexity and ChatGPT answers on "AI ad optimization" queries inside 60 days.

Summary

Miraa leads because it is the only firm here that bundles AEO into a published entry price and can show a named client's AI-citation counts across three engines. Most AEO specialists on this list do one or the other.

The cons are real. There are no third-party reviews yet. The Forge citation figures are a single snapshot without a "before" number, so they show scale rather than lift. And at $2,500 a month, the entry plan is likely too much for a team that hasn't yet written its category or comparison pages; fix that first.

Pick it if: B2B SaaS teams that want one retainer for AEO and SEO instead of two vendors.

Look elsewhere if: you want an AEO-only specialist, or you need review-site validation before you shortlist.

2. Discovered Labs

Discovered Labs homepage screenshot

Discovered Labs calls itself an "AEO/GEO agency for B2B companies." Co-founder Ben Moore, per its site, is an ex-Stanford AI researcher who built self-driving car and fraud systems at Stripe and Coinbase.

Services

  • AEO, Reddit marketing, SEO and link building

  • Its own AI Visibility Tracker

  • Published research, including "a statistical analysis of 2M AI citations across 10K pages"

  • Free tools such as an AEO Content Evaluator and an Agentic Browsing Checker

Its case studies describe a demand map that starts with your product and sales conversations, turns them into Google keywords and AI prompts, and measures Google and AI separately. Off-site work covers directories, Reddit and review sites.

Pricing

Discovered Labs publishes the clearest pricing in this group. Retainers are month to month, with lower rates for 3- or 6-month terms. On a 6-month term, Establish is €6,995/month (up to 20 content units, Reddit engagement and a 4-person pod) and Compete is €10,995/month.

Reviews

Clutch shows 4.9/5 from 4 reviews. Two recent review headlines (checked 15 Oct 2026): GetVocal's VP Marketing (24 Aug 2026), "Their willingness to experiment and try new things was impressive," and AdvisoryAI's Head of Marketing (20 Aug 2026), "Discovered Labs' project management is superb."

Clients

Its two clearest SaaS cases (fetched 15 Oct 2026):

  • Granola (AI notepad, Series C): monthly activated users attributed to AI increased 4,600% since January 2026; non-branded AI citation rate +558% and mention rate +739% from January to August 2026; organic sessions +134% in GA4 over the same search window. Growth Marketing's Julien is quoted: "It's become one of our main channels."

  • AdvisoryAI (financial planning software): HubSpot recorded a 100% year-on-year rise in demo requests, and AI citation rate rose 54% between 16 June and 20 August 2026 across 214 matched non-branded prompts. Co-founder Liam Dunne wrote on X on 27 Aug 2026 that AdvisoryAI's "demos and closed won revenue are up 100% YoY from SEO/AEO."

Testimonials also name Instantly, Sova Assessment and Passion.io.

Summary

Discovered Labs has the strongest named AEO evidence on this page: Granola's citation and mention rates and AdvisoryAI's doubled demo requests are dated and specific. It's also the only AEO-native firm that writes its rates down. The trade-off is that only four Clutch reviews back it, and Reddit is a core channel, which not every brand is comfortable with.

Pick it if: Series A+ SaaS teams that want a price on paper and hard citation numbers.

Look elsewhere if: your budget sits below about €7,000 a month, or your brand can't take part on Reddit.

3. OneMetrik

OneMetrik homepage screenshot

OneMetrik runs AEO for B2B SaaS, and says the work is "run founder-led."

Services

Schema architecture, content restructured around "fan-out sub-queries," entity and directory work (it names Clutch, G2 and Crunchbase), and owned comparison content.

Tracking is where OneMetrik is most specific. It says it tracks a fixed set of buyer-intent prompts weekly across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, and reports:

  • citation share

  • average position when cited

  • which competitors take each prompt

That's the clearest published reporting cadence on this list. Ask for a sample report, and ask how it handles logged-in versus logged-out answers.

Pricing

OneMetrik doesn't put a price on the AEO page; you get a number after scoping.

Reviews

Clutch shows 5.0 from 4 reviews. Two review headlines (checked 15 Oct 2026): Propel's Co-Founder (17 Sep 2026), "OneMetrik's project management is prompt and timely," and CUPI's Growth Lead (22 Jul 2026), "OneMetrik's communication and transparency are impressive."

Clients

The AEO page names no clients, so references are the way to verify the work.

Summary

OneMetrik publishes the most specific tracking cadence here: a fixed prompt set, eight engines, every week. What it doesn't publish is a named client result on the AEO page, so you're buying the method on trust plus reference calls.

Pick it if: smaller SaaS teams that want a founder doing the work and one weekly number to watch.

Look elsewhere if: you need named case studies before you sign.

4. Arobis AI

Arobis AI homepage screenshot

Arobis AI says it is "an AEO agency that works exclusively with B2B SaaS companies."

Services

It runs AEO and GEO in one program, with four workstreams:

  • mapping the buying questions buyers ask each engine

  • restructuring pages into "extractable answers" with schema and question-shaped headings

  • building third-party citations and entity signals

  • tracking answer share per engine

Pricing

No price on the AEO page.

Reviews

Clutch shows 5.0 from 5 reviews. Two review headlines (checked 15 Oct 2026): Wolverine Trading's Partner (14 Sep 2026), "Arobis AI's project management has been organized and is easy to work with," and COSTA NAVARINO's CEO (11 Sep 2026), "What impressed us was Arobis AI's technical machine learning expertise." Neither client is a SaaS company, so read these as feedback on delivery.

Clients

No named results on the AEO page.

Summary

Arobis AI has the right focus, AEO first and B2B SaaS only, but the evidence doesn't match it yet. Its two newest reviews come from a trading firm and a resort, not software companies, and there are no named results on the AEO page.

Pick it if: teams that want an AEO-first partner with a SaaS-only client base.

Look elsewhere if: you want proof from a SaaS client like you before committing.

5. Omniscient Digital

Omniscient Digital homepage screenshot

Omniscient is an organic growth agency for B2B software that now leads with getting brands "recommended across AI and search engines."

Services

AEO sits next to SEO strategy, programmatic SEO, link building, digital PR and content production. Its blog has a long explainer defining AEO as making "your brand, content, and message visible in the answer layer of AI-powered tools."

Pricing

Not published.

Reviews

Clutch shows 4.8/5 from 6 reviews. March 2026 review headlines include a Sr Content Writer at Mozilor Technologies ("clear, research-backed direction along with detailed briefs") and a Head of Marketing in IT ("industry expertise, experimental approach, and the quality of the deliverables").

Clients

Named AI-specific case studies:

  • OnBoard became the "#1 most visible brand in AI search" with "+88% AI visibility."

  • Convert: per Omniscient, LLM visibility rose 81% and AI citations 140% within two months.

One testimonial praises its "guidance on evolving from traditional SEO into GEO."

Summary

Omniscient's OnBoard and Convert cases show it can move AI visibility, not just rankings, and its content program is proven. It's a step up for an existing content engine, not a place to start one, and there's no public price.

Pick it if: SaaS brands where content is already the main growth channel.

Look elsewhere if: you have little content yet, or you need to budget before a call.

6. Siege Media

Siege Media homepage screenshot

Siege Media has rebuilt its positioning around GEO: "We tear through prompt and citation data to find the AI mentions, recommendations, and ranking gaps." It works across industries, including fintech and SaaS.

Services

Its GEO page (fetched 15 Oct 2026) lists research reports and digital PR, bottom-funnel and comparison content, Reddit, affiliate partnerships, a content freshness cadence and interactive assets. It says companies publishing original data earn 45% more AI citations than peers. Reporting covers LLM share of voice, citations, AI-referral traffic and branded search lift.

Pricing

There's no single AEO package. On its site (15 Oct 2026), content marketing starts at $8,000/month on a 12-month contract with a 30-day out clause, and digital PR "start around $12-15,000 per month" when Siege creates and promotes the PR content.

Reviews

Clutch shows 4.9/5 from 48 reviews. In an Aug 31, 2026 review, a Content Director at an online therapy platform says AI visibility for its high-priority tracked prompts rose by over 400% during the August 2025 to August 2026 engagement. The review's headline: "They were punctual, thorough, and incredibly open to feedback." Pacaso's Director of Paid Digital Advertising (10 Jul 2026) wrote: "Siege Media's organization and documentation procedures are very impressive."

On 30 Sep 2026 Siege posted on X: "Good CRO is good GEO. The things that convince customers to choose you, like reviews, awards, and results, can also give LLMs more reasons to recommend you."

Clients

No public SaaS client list on the pages we reviewed. Its research includes a piece with Ramp's Eric Wu on tracking AI traffic.

Summary

Siege is the most expensive option with a published floor: $8,000 a month for content on a 12-month contract, and $12,000–$15,000 for digital PR. For that you get the strongest earned-media machine on the list and a reviewer reporting a 400%+ jump in tracked AI visibility.

Pick it if: brands with budget where third-party mentions are the bottleneck.

Look elsewhere if: you can't commit to 12 months or $8,000 a month.

7. iPullRank

iPullRank homepage screenshot

iPullRank, founded by Mike King, describes itself as "a pioneering AI Search and content marketing agency leading the way in Relevance Engineering, GEO, Audience-Focused SEO, and Content Strategy." It says it has delivered "$5B+ in organic search results" for clients.

Services

AI Search Strategy Programs built on what it calls Relevance Engineering and Resonance Design, covering signals across your whole web footprint. It publishes an AI Search Manual for teams that want the technical framing before they buy a program.

Pricing

iPullRank sells programs by proposal.

Reviews

iPullRank has a Clutch profile with no reviews.

Clients

The homepage cites large results (one of "the world's biggest banks paused their paid ad spend" after its content engineering work) but the clients aren't named there.

Summary

iPullRank has the deepest technical thinking in AI search, and its AI Search Manual is worth reading whether you hire it or not. But its Clutch profile has no reviews and its big results aren't named.

Pick it if: enterprise SaaS with complex sites and an in-house team that can ship technical advice.

Look elsewhere if: you're a lean team that needs someone else to do the work.

8. growth.cx

growth.cx homepage screenshot

growth.cx describes itself as "an AEO agency backed by our broader AI SEO team," focused on SaaS.

Services

A five-part system covering visibility, content, technical infrastructure, authority and monitoring. The first step is a baseline across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews, using questions pulled "from sales calls, community threads, and comparison searches."

Pricing

Not listed.

Reviews

We found no Clutch or G2 profile with reviews for growth.cx.

Clients

The page shows client logos but no named AEO results.

Summary

growth.cx has a clear process, starting with a baseline built from sales calls and comparison searches. With no review profile and no named AEO result, it's the hardest firm here to verify.

Pick it if: teams that want AEO and SEO from one shop with a defined process.

Look elsewhere if: you need outside proof before shortlisting.

9. Graphite

Graphite homepage screenshot

Graphite calls itself "a research driven growth agency," and its AEO page lists a Chief AI Officer and a senior data specialist, both PhDs, on the team.

Services

Graphite builds a fixed prompt set from sales calls, support tickets and forums, "typically 200+ queries a quarter," and tracks which engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) cite you, on which questions, against which competitors. It checks the prompts that matter against real, logged-in use instead of relying only on logged-out tool data.

Off-site, it frames the work as earned authority, getting you "placed in publications and research corpora" that AI engines already treat as credible. Its own research calls most off-site work "a black hole," and its FAQ points out that a lot of AI visibility comes from your own product, category and comparison pages.

Pricing

Graphite doesn't list prices.

Reviews

We found no Clutch or G2 profile with reviews for Graphite.

Clients

Webflow: in a case dated January 2026, Graphite says the share of Webflow sign-ups from LLMs doubled from 4% to 8%, and Webflow's LLM share of voice rose from 33% to 64%. In June 2026 research on n8n, Graphite found that a post-conversion survey credited about 9% of conversions to AEO, while GA4 last-touch credited about 1%.

Graphite's Ethan Smith argues that self-reported AI attribution runs well ahead of last-touch analytics. On X on 14 Oct 2026, @RickElmore44 summarized his Reforge talk: "self-reported AI attribution was 10x last-touch from direct/referral." @driesdegelder posted the same point on 13 Oct 2026. Ask any agency how it squares citation dashboards with your how-did-you-hear-about-us answers.

Summary

Graphite does the measurement work most agencies skip: a fixed 200+ prompt set, logged-in checks, and a public warning that last-touch analytics undercounts AI. The Webflow case is named and dated. No published price and no review profile are the gaps.

Pick it if: SaaS teams that want AEO run like a research project with a quarterly benchmark.

Look elsewhere if: you want quick content output more than measurement rigor.

What AI-citation reporting actually looks like

When agencies say "AI visibility," they don't all mean the same thing. Before you compare proposals, pin down what is being measured:

  • Fixed prompt set vs drifting score. OneMetrik and Graphite publish a fixed buyer-prompt list (weekly across eight engines, or 200+ prompts a quarter). Discovered Labs measures citation and mention rates against a matched non-branded benchmark (AdvisoryAI: 214 prompts, 856 responses per run). A single "AI score" that changes definition each month is hard to manage against.

  • Citation vs mention vs share of voice. A citation is usually a linked or named source in the answer. A mention can be a brand name without a source. Share of voice is your share of those events against competitors. Ask which one the retainer optimizes for.

  • Logged-in vs logged-out. Graphite checks important prompts against logged-in use. Tool panels that only sample logged-out answers can miss personalization and memory effects.

  • Leading indicator vs pipeline. Discovered Labs and Siege report citation movement separately from CRM outcomes such as demos and branded search. If a deck only shows citation %, ask for the conversion numbers next to it. For an attribution setup, see B2B SEO pipeline attribution.

If you're evaluating AEO proposals, here's what to watch out for

AEO is new enough that a lot of proposals are rank tracking with a fresh name. These red flags separate a real program from a rebrand:

"AI visibility score" with no definition. If the agency can't tell you whether it counts citations, mentions or share of voice, and against which prompts, the number can go up without anything changing for you.

A prompt list the agency picked alone. Prompts chosen by the vendor can be tuned to look good. Good answers start from your sales calls and lost-deal reasons rather than a keyword tool. Ask to approve the list.

Monthly snapshots. AI answers vary from run to run. OneMetrik tracks eight engines weekly and Discovered Labs runs a daily tracker. A monthly screenshot is too slow to tell signal from noise.

On-site work only. If the plan is only schema and blog rewrites, ask about G2, Reddit, comparison lists and press. AI answers lean heavily on third-party sources.

Citations with no pipeline. Self-reported attribution ("How did you hear about us?" plus which assistant) and AI referral traffic in analytics are the usual starting points. Graphite's public undercount warning is why that survey question matters.

A guarantee. Nobody controls what a model writes. Any promise of a specific placement is a reason to walk away.

A vague scope. Siege's published content and digital PR minimums, and Discovered Labs' €6,995 / €10,995 tiers, show how wide the spend range is once you move past "AEO" as a label. Get the deliverables listed, not just the label.

Before you sign, get clear answers to these:

  1. Which prompts will you track, who picks them, and can I see the list?

  2. Which engines, how often, and logged-in or logged-out?

  3. What will you change off my site in the first 90 days?

  4. How will you connect citations to demos and pipeline?

  5. What's in the retainer, and what costs extra?

Build a prompt set before your first sales call

You'll get far more out of agency calls if you arrive with your own baseline. It takes an afternoon:

  1. Pull 20 to 30 real questions. Use sales call notes, lost-deal reasons, support tickets and the questions prospects ask in demos. Phrase them the way a buyer would ask an assistant: "best [category] for [team size]," "[competitor] alternatives," "does [category] integrate with [tool]."

  2. Run each prompt in the engines your buyers use. Note whether you're named, whether you're cited with a link, what's said about you and which competitors appear.

  3. Record the sources. When an answer cites a page, write down whose page it is. You'll quickly see whether your own site, review sites, Reddit or comparison lists shape your category.

  4. Repeat in two weeks. Answers shift. Two readings tell you how noisy the baseline is.

Now bring that sheet to each call. Ask the agency what it would change first and why. A strong AEO partner will have opinions on your sources list within minutes. A weak one will want to "run an audit" before saying anything specific.

Where AEO overlaps with SEO (and where it doesn't)

Most agencies here run AEO and SEO together, for a practical reason. NeuroSEO's GEO page puts it plainly: "A site with no SEO foundation rarely wins at GEO." Miraa covers the same ground on its generative engine optimization and LLM SEO pages.

The pages that win differ, though. A ranking page needs to be the best result for a query. A cited page needs a clear, self-contained passage that answers the question, and other sources saying the same thing about you.

Reading an AEO report

When the first monthly report lands, look for three things. A fixed prompt list with the same prompts as last month, so movement means something. A per-engine breakdown, because an assistant that searches the web live and one that answers from memory react to different work. And a line that connects citations to something in your CRM, even if it's only self-reported "how did you hear about us" answers. If any of the three is missing, ask for it before the second invoice.

How to choose: match the agency to your situation

If you want AEO and SEO under one retainer at a known price, pick Miraa.

If you're Series A+ and want named citation results plus written rates, pick Discovered Labs.

If your leadership doubts AI attribution, pick Graphite; its fixed benchmark and survey-versus-analytics research give you numbers to defend the spend.

If you're a small team and want a founder on your account, pick OneMetrik.

If your content engine already works and needs to show up in AI answers, pick Omniscient Digital.

If competitors win because they're mentioned everywhere and you aren't, pick Siege Media, and budget for at least a year.

If you run a large, complex site with engineers who can act on technical advice, pick iPullRank.

If you'd rather not hire anyone yet, that can be the right call. Wait if your key pages can't be crawled cleanly, if you have no category or comparison pages for an assistant to cite, if your baseline shows assistants naming nobody in your category, or if nobody on your side owns review profiles, PR and product pages. Fix those first, then bring a partner in.

Shortlisting

AEO is young, and plenty of what's sold under the name is rebranded SEO. The ones worth a call publish how they measure citations and show at least one named result. Ask the tracking question first. If an agency can't name the prompts it will watch, it can't tell you whether the work did anything.
