Last updated: October 23, 2026
Your buyers have usually picked a favorite before they ever talk to you. A global study of more than 4,000 B2B buyers, released in November 2025 by a revenue intelligence software company, found that 94% of buying groups had ranked their preferred vendors before first contact with a seller. They went on to buy from that early favorite 77% of the time.

So the job of SEO in 2026 is getting onto that early shortlist, in search results and in AI answers, while the buyer is still researching alone. Traffic only matters if it gets you there.
Skale sells exactly that outcome, and it's good at it. But it isn't the only way to get there, and its model won't suit every budget, team or channel mix. Below are five alternatives, each chosen for a specific reason you might want to switch.
TL;DR
Miraa - Best for SaaS teams that want buyer-intent pages and AI search visibility at a fixed monthly price
PipeRocket Digital - Best for post-PMF SaaS that wants SEO and paid search run as one pipeline team
Gripped - Best for UK and European SaaS between £2M and £20M ARR that needs full demand generation with SEO as one channel
Page One Power - Best for teams whose main gap is high-quality, manually built links
Infrasity - Best for DevTool, API and AI infrastructure companies selling to engineers
Side-by-side comparison

PipeRocket Digital | SEO plus PPC tied to pipeline | $3,000 a month | 4.7 | 18 | Jul 30, 2026 |

Clutch figures were checked on each agency's Clutch profile on 18 Oct 2026.
How we chose
We started from the most likely reasons a team would look beyond Skale, then picked one strong option for each:
A lower, clearly published entry price
Paid media alongside SEO in the same team
A wider demand generation scope for European scale-ups
Deeper specialism in links
Technical content for developer audiences
Every agency had to meet four tests:
It works with B2B SaaS or tech companies today.
Its Clutch profile opened when we checked, or, for Miraa, it publishes named case studies.
Its services and pricing signals can be verified on its own site or Clutch.
It has a clear point of difference from Skale, rather than a similar offer at a similar price.
We only quoted Clutch reviews dated within the last 12 months, and we didn't use any agency's own research as evidence. Results an agency reports about its own clients are labelled as the agency's claims.
For background on what Skale itself offers, start with our full Skale review.
When staying with Skale makes sense
Switching agencies costs you months of context, so be honest about whether you need to. Skale is still the stronger pick if:
AI search visibility is your top priority and you want weekly tracking of brand mentions and citations
You need a large outreach team to build links at a steady pace
Your leadership wants SEO reported in CAC payback and MRR terms
You value founders who have run SaaS growth in-house
You need Spanish-language content as well as English
If none of those is the reason you're reading this, keep going.
1. Miraa

Miraa is a B2B SaaS SEO and AEO agency built around the pages buyers read right before they shortlist a tool. Think alternatives pages, head-to-head comparisons, integration guides and use-case pages. Strategists and editors own each account, and custom AI agents handle research, briefing, refreshes, internal linking and monitoring.
It's on this list because it does the part of Skale's job that most directly moves pipeline, bottom-of-funnel content and AI answer visibility, at a published monthly price that sits below Skale's stated starting point.
Services
On-Page SEO
SEO Website Recovery
Technical SEO
Content-led SEO
Content Writing
SEO Site Migration
Agentic SEO/GEO
Product-led SEO
AEO/GEO
Link Building
Pricing
Miraa's pricing page shows three monthly plans:
Basic Growth, $2,500 a month: a custom-agent SEO strategy, bottom-of-funnel content, GEO and AI search visibility work, a keyword map tied to revenue and a pipeline report each month
Growth+, $3,500 a month: all of Basic plus a programmatic SEO build-out, human-led content that includes lead magnets, refresh and optimization agents, and fortnightly strategy calls
Hyper-Growth, $5,000 a month: all of Growth+ plus agents custom-built for your workflow, monitoring and internal linking agents, revenue attribution, and a Slack channel of your own
Its FAQ is upfront that no agency can guarantee a brand will appear in a specific AI answer. Use that as a test for every agency you speak to.
Reviews
Miraa has no third-party reviews on Clutch or similar platforms yet. That's a real gap next to agencies with dozens of reviews, so lean on its case studies and ask to speak with current clients.
Clients
The one named case study follows five sibling products in cold outreach: Salesforge, Mailforge, Warmforge, Primeforge and Infraforge. Leadsforge is also a client. Miraa split the keyword map so each domain owned its own intent territory, then built competitor reviews, alternatives pages and pricing comparisons in one house style.
In AI search, the study counts 2,100 Google AI Mode citations for Salesforge, against 618 from Gemini and 388 from Perplexity (Ahrefs, Aug 2026).
Two further case studies are unnamed. A LinkedIn automation tool generated more than 200 qualified leads in its first 90 days. An AI ad platform reached $25K MRR within its first quarter, with 45% of leads coming from organic discovery.
Summary
Pick Miraa if your priority is ranking and getting cited for the searches closest to purchase, and you want to know your monthly cost before the first call. It's a lighter, more focused engagement than Skale's.
Skip it if you need a long public review record, a big outreach team for link velocity, or Spanish-language content at scale. Most of its named proof also comes from one family of sales tech products, so ask how that experience maps to your category.
2. PipeRocket Digital

PipeRocket Digital is a SaaS marketing agency founded in 2023 by Praveen Ravi, who worked in performance marketing at SaaS Labs and Kissflow, and Kamaraj Mathiarasan, who worked on SEO at Sprinto and Kissflow. It describes itself as an embedded revenue team that owns one number: pipeline from your ideal customers.
It's here because it fixes a gap in Skale's offer. Skale's published services don't include paid media. PipeRocket puts SEO, AI search and paid acquisition in the same team, measured against the same pipeline target.
Services
SaaS SEO with bottom-of-funnel pages first
AI SEO for visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews
PPC across Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Reddit and Meta, plus ChatGPT ads
Content marketing, programmatic SEO and link building
Technical SEO covering crawl, indexation and Core Web Vitals
Account-based marketing and LinkedIn programs
Marketing operations, attribution and CRM alignment
Reddit marketing
Its site lists a California headquarters and describes the team as remote-first. Its Clutch profile lists Chennai, India. Clutch splits its service mix evenly across SEO and PPC at 35% each, with demand generation at 30%.
Pricing
PipeRocket publishes three engagement levels:
Single-Channel Embed, from $3K a month, for post-PMF SaaS at $1M to $5M ARR: one channel such as SEO, PPC or content, a weekly pipeline sync and a monthly pipeline contribution report
Multi-Channel Embed, from $10K a month, for growth-stage SaaS at $5M to $15M ARR: two or three channels together, cross-channel attribution, MarOps setup and an AEO and GEO audit at month three
Full GTM Embed, from $20K a month, for companies at $10M+ ARR: all seven services, a dedicated revenue analyst and quarterly board-ready pipeline reports
The site marks the middle tier as the most chosen and says pipeline reporting starts in week four. Ad spend sits outside these fees.
Reviews
PipeRocket's Clutch profile showed 4.7 from 18 reviews when we checked. The latest is dated Jul 30, 2026.
Amnic's head of marketing reports non-branded organic traffic up more than 2.2x between the first and second quarters of 2026, with leads up more than 2.3x and AI referral traffic up 99% from May to June.
A reviewer from LatentView Analytics reports AI-led traffic up 130% and more than 50,000 AI citations. They gave 4.5 stars and said communication "could be slightly better".
A reviewer at an AI customer service platform saw average sitewide position move from 34.4 to between 13.1 and 13.9 and leads from bottom-of-funnel pages rise 10%. They liked that the team was ready to say no to work that would hurt the brand, and wanted better documentation of what was working.
LateShipment.com reports revenue up 25% and SQL to SQO conversion up 35% to 40%. Its one request was a more complete KPI dashboard.
Clients
PipeRocket names Storylane, Spendflo, greytHR, Keka, LatentView, DevRev, Goldcast and SaaS Labs among its clients. On its own site, it reports 2.5x pipeline growth for Storylane, and for Spendflo, a 61% recovery in organic traffic after an algorithm hit plus $1.4M in pipeline over 18 months.
Summary
PipeRocket is the alternative to pick if you want one agency accountable for both organic and paid pipeline, and you're early enough that a $3K starting tier matters. Its reviewers are specific about revenue and SQL outcomes, which is the evidence you want.
It's a young agency, founded in 2023, and two 2026 reviewers asked for better reporting or documentation. If deep link building and AI brand tracking are your core needs, Skale has the larger specialist bench.
3. Gripped

Gripped is a London-based B2B marketing agency, founded in 2017, that runs demand generation, ABM, paid media, SEO and GEO for SaaS, AI and tech companies. It focuses on companies between £2M and £20M ARR and says it has worked with more than 160 of them.
It earns a place because it's the broadest option here. If your problem is pipeline in general, and SEO is only one lever, Gripped can act as your outsourced marketing team in a way Skale doesn't try to.
Services
Go-to-market strategy covering who to sell to, what to say and which channels to use
Demand generation campaigns linked to closed deals
Account-based marketing for target account lists
Paid search on Google and Bing, and paid social including LinkedIn ads
SEO mapped to search intent and buying stage
GEO for citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews
SaaS website and landing page design and development
Engagements follow four stages: audit and strategy, foundation and quick wins, scale and optimise, then evolve and grow. Every plan includes 30-day sprints with 90-day objectives and a dedicated account manager and strategist.
Pricing
Gripped publishes its main engagement models:
Advisory or Execution, from £3,500 a month plus project fees, for strong in-house teams that need direction and a specialist
Performance, from £7,500 a month, for deep work in one or two channels such as paid search, SEO or content
Scale, from £15,000 a month, for full demand generation run as an outsourced marketing team, with weekly syncs
It says a typical investment is £5K to £15K a month, with most marketing leaders spending £8K to £12K. Paid media budgets are separate, and full website rebuilds are quoted as projects, with a basic refresh at £18K to £45K.
Reviews
Gripped holds 4.9 from 32 reviews on Clutch. The latest we could see is dated Dec 19, 2025, and three reviews fall within the last 12 months. Two of them:
Terryberry, Dec 19, 2025: the reviewer reports the ad budget cut by 46% while cost per SQL fell 31%.
An IT services company, Nov 20, 2025: a 4.5-star review whose main request was "more assertive guidance" so the team could change direction sooner.
There are no Clutch reviews dated in 2026 yet, so ask for a recent reference, ideally one where SEO or GEO was a large part of the work.
Clients
Beyond Terryberry, Gripped points to results rather than a long logo list. Its homepage reports a 252% rise in opportunity value from Google search ads for one client, a 108% year-on-year rise in sales opportunities from paid search and social for another, and £1.3M in new pipeline in a single quarter. All three are Gripped's own figures and are driven mainly by paid media.
Summary
Choose Gripped if you're a UK or European SaaS scale-up and you need SEO, GEO, paid and ABM pulled into one plan by a single team. The pricing is clear and the review record is strong.
It's less of a fit if organic search is your main channel. Most of its published wins come from paid media, and its lowest tier is advisory. For a pure SEO and AI search program, Skale or Miraa is more focused.
4. Page One Power

Page One Power is a link building agency based in Boise, Idaho. It has done link building since 2010 and has grown to between 50 and 249 people, according to Clutch. Its site says every link is built by hand by US-based staff, with no outsourcing, automation or templates.
It's on the list for one reason: links. Skale builds links as one part of a wider program. If links are your main bottleneck, a team that does nothing else is the cleanest fix, either instead of Skale or alongside a content partner.
Services
Custom link building across six link types: foundational and industry links, community mentions, earned media links, editorial links, expert links and unique high authority links
Digital PR
White-label link building for other agencies
AI search optimization
On-page SEO, internal linking and schema markup
Technical SEO audits and crawl optimization
Advanced technical content
Clutch says the team builds more than 15,000 links a year, employs more than 50 US-based writers and researchers, and gives each client a dedicated project manager with monthly reports and quarterly reviews.
Pricing
Page One Power doesn't list prices on its site, and says plainly that it isn't the cheapest option. Clutch shows a minimum project size of $1,000+, but reviewers most often report projects of $50,000 to $199,999. Plan for a real budget if you want sustained campaigns.
Reviews
Page One Power has 4.7 from 17 reviews on Clutch.
The CEO of Smartlifeco, Mar 11, 2026, the most recent review, credits the link building with more clicks and impressions.
A senior content strategist at a university, Feb 18, 2026, describes backlink reclamation after a rebrand, a proprietary survey and digital PR. Alongside the team's own efforts, the reviewer reports a 108% rise in conversions year over year for 2025, and gave 4.5 stars.
Clutch's own summary of the reviews says clients see it as good value and praise its transparency, communication and project management. Only two reviews are from the last 12 months, and the next most recent is from 2024, so ask for a current SaaS reference.
Clients
The site names Healthline, Hyatt, QuickBooks, Atera and Lucidchart. Clutch lists Bostitch and Mr. Rooter, and Hanwha Vision America is among its reviewers. Atera's SEO manager says on the homepage that the work and the numbers are good and that the team stands behind what it says.
Summary
Page One Power is the right alternative if your content is already good and you simply need authority. It's a long-standing specialist with a careful, manual approach.
It isn't SaaS-only, and it won't plan your content strategy or AI search program the way Skale does. Most SaaS teams will pair it with a content or SEO partner rather than replace Skale with it outright. Our list of SaaS link building agencies has more specialists to compare.
5. Infrasity

Infrasity is a developer marketing and technical content agency founded in 2023, with its Clutch profile listing Delhi as headquarters and a team of two to nine people. It focuses on DevTool startups, AI agent platforms, observability companies and infrastructure SaaS. Its pitch is that content is written by developers with five to 10+ years of engineering experience, not by marketers.
It's here because Skale's content model is built for SaaS buyers broadly. If your buyer is an engineer who will test your SDK before talking to sales, you need content that survives their scrutiny.
Services
Developer marketing, often called B2D
Technical blog posts, tutorials and quickstart guides
Product documentation and API documentation
Technical video production with a seven-day turnaround
Reddit marketing and community content
AI GEO optimization for ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity
Infrasity says it measures success on product adoption, such as API calls, SDK downloads and active users, rather than page views.
Pricing
Infrasity publishes plan contents but not prices.
Starter Plan, for early-stage infrastructure, AI and DevTool startups: four long-form technical blogs a month, one SDK guide or integration walkthrough, keyword-based topic ideas, developer persona mapping, weekly async updates and optional publishing to Markdown or Webflow
Scale Plan: six to eight technical blogs a month, two video walkthroughs, use-case libraries, onboarding docs, SDK examples, landing page copy and a dedicated content strategist
It offers a 30-day proof of concept. Clutch lists a $5,000+ minimum project, an hourly rate of $100 to $149, and a most common project size under $10,000, which makes it the most accessible specialist here.
Reviews
Infrasity has 4.7 from 11 reviews on Clutch. The latest we could see is from Oct 29, 2025.
Inventive AI reports a 25% rise in inbound leads over four months, driven by Reddit marketing.
A customer conversation platform, Oct 28, 2025, used Infrasity for Reddit and Quora content aimed at LLM visibility. They gave 4.5 stars and wanted more strategic insight and better reporting.
Clients
Its site and Clutch profile name Firefly, Terrateam, Kubiya.ai, Middleware, Cerbos and Inventive AI. Its site says its clients include startups backed by Y Combinator, Boldstart and Eclipse.
Summary
Infrasity is the alternative to choose if your buyers write code and your current content reads like it was written for a marketer. Engineer-written tutorials and docs are hard to fake, and Reddit work suits developer audiences well.
It's small and narrow by design. It won't run link building at Skale's scale, and its own site says it isn't meant for non-technical audiences. No Clutch reviews have been posted in 2026 so far, so ask for a current reference.
How to choose the right Skale alternative
Start from your situation, not from the agency list.
You're post-PMF with a tight budget
Look at Miraa or PipeRocket's Single-Channel Embed. Both publish prices that start below Skale's stated $4,000, and both aim content at bottom-of-funnel searches first. Pick Miraa if organic and AI answers are the whole plan. Pick PipeRocket if you expect to add paid search within a year.
Your board judges marketing on pipeline from every channel
PipeRocket or Gripped. Both tie their reporting to SQLs and pipeline, and both run paid media. PipeRocket is SaaS-native and US-focused. Gripped suits UK and European scale-ups and can take on strategy and ABM too.
Your content is strong but you can't rank it
That's usually a links problem. Page One Power is the specialist. Before you hire anyone, check that your technical SEO isn't the real blocker, because links won't fix indexation.
You sell to developers
Infrasity. Pair it with a link building partner if your domain is new.
AI answers matter more than rankings
Ask every agency how they measure it. Miraa, PipeRocket, Gripped and Skale all list GEO or AI search work. Our guides to measuring AI search visibility and getting recommended by ChatGPT explain what good looks like. For a wider shortlist, see our list of the best AEO agencies for B2B SaaS.
You need comparison and alternatives pages fast
These pages convert because buyers read them right before a decision. Our guide to comparison pages explains how to build them, and any agency on this list should be able to show you examples.
Whichever way you lean, agree the success metric before you sign. Our B2B SEO attribution guide covers how to track organic pipeline, and the B2B SaaS SEO guide covers the full playbook.
Switching from Skale without losing ground
If you do decide to move, the handover matters as much as the new agency. A messy switch can cost you a quarter of momentum. Work through this list before the old contract ends.
Export everything. Ask for the keyword map, content calendar, brief templates, link reports and any AI visibility tracking, including the prompt list behind it.
Get a list of live links and pending outreach. Links that are agreed but not yet published can disappear when the outreach owner changes.
Take ownership of dashboards. If reporting runs in a Looker Studio file the agency built, make sure your team owns the data sources and the file.
Record the baseline. Save organic signups, demo requests, rankings for priority terms and AI citation counts for the month before the switch, so the new agency starts from a number you trust.
Freeze big changes for a few weeks. Avoid a redesign or migration during the handover, so any drop can be traced to the right cause.
Brief the new agency on what didn't work. Experiments that failed are as useful as the ones that succeeded, and they stop the new team repeating them.
Give the new partner one quarter before you judge it, and agree in writing which metrics you'll judge it on. Most of the agencies above offer a defined first phase, whether that's PipeRocket's week-four pipeline reporting, Gripped's audit and quick-wins stage or Infrasity's 30-day proof of concept. Use that phase to check how they work with your team as well as whether the first numbers move.
